THE DESTINE 4 GREATNESS STORY
The Destine 4 Greatness Tour has been in existence since 2004 and now it is time to touch more lives and expand our reach throughout Southern California. Destine 4 Greatness has conducted school tours and touched thousands of lives through books, music, assemblies and seminars. Professor Carter has teamed up with musical genius Damon Wright, also known as, “Relm Diggie,” also known as “I’m A Buckeye!”. Relm Diggie and Professor Carter have combined their talents to bring Music, Video, Comic books, a Comic Book Super Hero and an incredible message of life skills, character education, leadership, college readiness, empowerment, entrepreneurship, mental health, and financial literacy to millions of students in the Los Angeles and Long Beach Unified School Districts, and the Columbus, Ohio Public Schools!
PROFESSOR JEROME CARTER
JEROME VINCENT CARTER is well known in the field of education. He has been an educator for over three decades! His goal is to empower students at all levels to strive for greatness, because they have been Destine 4 Greatness since birth! Jerome has taught regular, gifted and correctional education!
Jerome is a consultant for numerous school districts including Los Angeles, Compton, Long Beach, Inglewood, and Hacienda La Puente Unified School Districts. He also works part time at Loyola Marymount University and Cal State Los Angeles. And he has taught and consulted for University of California Irvine, University of San Diego, and Azusa Pacific University.
Jerome has traveled the United States training teachers and students through workshops, assemblies and seminars. He is an expert in the field of teacher and student motivation. He has authored seven books, two audio CDs and five DVDs. Jerome Carter has spoken to thousands of people including Teachers, Superintendents, Principals, Administrators, and Title-one Coordinators.
RELM DIGGIE
RELM DIGGIE was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Relm is passionate about writing. He was encouraged to write by his 4th grade teacher. After reading his story, his teacher told him to never put his pen down again.
As a young person, music was Relm’s life and he pursued it as a career. When his song was played on the radio in 2003, his city responded with tremendous love and support. Soon after, Relm moved to California. His journey wasn’t easy as he was met with many obstacles.
Relm has faced life altering events, including when his manager was murdered and Relm had to identify the body. This proved to be the most painful setback of his life and career. His manager’s death came only three weeks after his (the manager’s) wedding. He’d just gotten married to his high school sweetheart. Relm and his manager had worked hard on his career. Because Relm was the last person to see his manager alive, he became a suspect in his death. Relm was found innocent after the real suspect was finally found.
In coming to California, Relm left everything and everyone he knew. In California for 10 years, his sole family is his two sons. The message Relm hopes to send through his music is,“I want everyone to gain a positive sense of self, a sense of knowing who they are, and ultimately become closer to God. At the end of the day, that’s why we are all here.”
What sets Relm apart from other musicians is his ability to tell stories. He brings many life experiences to the table. Because of his sons, Relm pushes through every obstacle as he makes his way in life. His sons inspire him to leave behind a positive legacy. Relm aspires to leave his sons with something great. Relm models for his sons that they can achieve whatever they want in life!
Relm’s brand translates to “Keep Pushing”. Relm is short for Realism. Relm sounds like no one else. That’s why he’s a star. Relm’s next major career goal is to write books and movies, and educate all youth to become Destine 4 Greatness.
